I am a Registered Psychologist, with my office conveniently located in downtown Castlegar. My goal is to provide you with a comfortable, safe, and non-judgmental environment in which you can openly discuss the issues for which you are seeking therapy.  Individual psychotherapy is designed to help you learn new and healthy ways to cope with a wide range of issues.

The treatments I use in therapy are “evidence-based”, which means that they have support for effectiveness in scientific research.  The specific techniques I use will vary, depending on your goals reasons for seeking treatment.  I typically incorporate the use of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques in my work, although I also use other approaches (i.e. attachment & psychodynamic), as appropriate.
